Sometimes a girl just needs to vent….

Name – Evie Jordan

Relationship Status – Reluctantly single

State Of Mind – Precarious

The relationship ended four weeks ago. Apparently it was not me it was him. Marvellous news. For the sake of this blog I have changed his name to Richard* but you can condense that to any four letter nickname of your choosing.

Any hints tips or help on surviving heartbreak with at least a smidgen of dignity are most appreciated.

PS If anyone has seen my self esteem. Please get in touch.

Where did I read … hm … after any breakup, make a Good Riddance List … of all the things about him that you hate. I like this idea!

Advice for surviving life after a breakup. Hmm. I’ve had a couple doozies. Let’s see…

Just keep breathing until enough time passes. I promise it gets better, but for me the only thing that truly worked was the passage of time. It sucks, I know. I wish you the best; you will get through this.

Unrelated, I love this font and I don’t want to stop typing. But I will. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Thanks for the kind words June! I like the fact that you and your significant other spread the Valentine’s sentiment throughout the year and don’t get caught up in the commercial side. And at least we’re not at High School any more!!!

Take up horse-riding. You’ll either fall in love with the horse, or fall off it. Either way, there’s no time to think about the miserable ‘stallion’ you just split with. And much more fun.

Love your blog! I read your brilliant reblogged post about Facebook on Jane Dougherty’s blog. So far as advice on relationships? Well, for somebody who has been married three times (widowed, divorced and now married again) I’m not sure what I can offer other than the usual ‘time will heal’ sentiments. Don’t give up hope though. You just never know…I wish you all the very best and keep up the great writing 🙂

Thanks so much for reading Sherri and for your lovely comments! I really like Jane Dougherty’s blog. I’ve not been on WordPress for ages. Work is obviously distracting me from the good things in life! I will have to check out your blog. I need more time for reading!!!!!!!!
